I received a call from a gentleman that had seen me at Tamarack and wanted a picture of his dog painted for his wife for Christmas. I did the painting and sent it off. A few weeks later he called to tell me he had received the painting and was so pleased. He also told me the story of how Lucky came to be their dog. She followed him home from work several times and so he began feeding her and took her to the vet because she was malnurished. The vet informed him that she had been shot several times and least one of those times was with a shotgun. Needless to say she is a lucky dog to have a human that cares about her.
