"Blue Skies" Best in Show, Allegheny Highlands Annual Art Show

This was a painting that I used to demonstrate and teach at my last pastel workshop, Carnegie Hall, Lewisburg, WV.  I entered the painting in the Allegheny Highlands Art Show in Clifton Forge, VA.  Just received a call that it had been pick for "Best in Show"

Studio and Teaching Space

We recently added a bathroom to our downstairs to help facilitate holding classes in my new studio space.  I am loving the working area and having room to do everything I need to do.

Workshop Held in Sept at Carnegie Hall, Lewisburg

Just gave a class on landscapes and animal portraits.  One of the techniques the students used was underpainting with complimentary and analagous colors.  We had some really good results
